Cherrish began her legal career in 2010 at North Idaho College, where she earned an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies. During her second semester, on the recommendation of her advisor, she completed a pivotal paid internship that introduced her to the practical realities of legal practice.

For the next two years in Idaho, she developed strong skills across family law, general practice, guardianship and conservatorship, and probate litigation. In 2012 she joined Andrea Poplawski in Spokane, Washington, beginning a formative chapter of her professional growth.

In 2019 Cherrish graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law & Justice, earning summa cum laude honors and recognition as a Dean’s Scholar—placing her in the top 5% of her graduating class.

Since that time she has continued to build her knowledge, and opened her own practice in 2024. As the owner of Cherrished Justice, Cherrish has  collaborated with attorneys including Andrea Poplawski, Marriya Wright, Alaina Brown and John Barton. Her work encompasses:

  • Family law (Washington and Alaska)

  • Criminal law (Washington and Alaska)

  • Appellate practice before Washington Court of Appeals and Washington Supreme Court, the Alaska Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit

  • Personal restraint petitions and other post-conviction matters

  • Personal injury and general civil litigation

Throughout her career Cherrish has earned a reputation for delivering precise, efficient, and professional paralegal support to a wide range of attorneys. Her commitment to continuous learning and excellence remains central to her approach in serving clients and counsel seeking effective representation and justice.

“At first, I thought I couldn’t afford Cherrished Justice—now I know I couldn’t afford to run my business without their team.”

"Cherrish is an exceptional paralegal. She is incredibly smart, organized, efficient, and knows family law inside and out. She understands how to move a case forward, stays on top of the details, and communicates exceptionally well with clients, attorneys, and the courts. She's also direct, practical, and doesn't waste time, which I really appreciate.

As a solo practitioner, having Cherrish on my team has made an enormous difference in my practice. She has helped me run a more efficient and profitable business, and more importantly, has helped me achieve better outcomes for my clients. She's fast, thorough, dependable, and genuinely excellent at what she does. I can't recommend her highly enough."
